THE SIR ROBERT BELLINGER AWARD

The Sir Robert Bellinger Award, generously donated by the Bellinger Donnay Charitable Trust, is awarded each year to a member of the EUYO who has demonstrated huge musical talent and potential, but whose development and career would benefit greatly from financial assistance. 

The Award was presented in 2010 to 21-year-old Antonio Novais, from Portugal, the EUYO's Co-Principal Cello for this season. Antonio will use the award to help cover the cost of his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, as well to pay for scores, strings and insurance for his cello.
