CHAIRMAN'S AWARD

Our Chairman, Robert A Albert, makes an award each year to a member (or members) of the Orchestra who, in the opinion of the Secretary General and the General Manager, has contributed most towards the creation of an atmosphere of harmony and understanding during the Summer Tour, so that the ideal of the EUYO - the bringing together of musically talented youth from the different nations, religions, cultures and traditions of the European Union to form an orchestra of world-class standard - are realised.

The award for the 2010 - 2011 season was announced at the end of the Summer Tour 2010 and, as with the previous season, there were two winners: Robin Green (orchestral piano) and Esther Feustel (violin).
