EUYO Tutors

Each EUYO rehearsal period is run by a team of highly experienced and distinguished professors and music tutors who coach the players individually, as sections, in chamber groups and as an orchestra. The contact that the musicians have with these professionals is vital not only to create the level of performance the EUYO is known for, but also for the players’ individual, professional and social development.

“Leading the ECYO helped me to get my first job with the Vienna Philharmonic. Having played under Claudio Abbado with the ECYO he invited me to the St. Moritz Musiktreffen – it was a key turning point in my career. It’s now great to be invited back as a tutor and to have the opportunity to pass on what I have learnt to the next generation.”
